Cedar Rapids Opera's popular Salon Series is back for its first show of Season 29, put on in partnership with Aura Independent Living in Cedar Rapids.

Performed by the Autumn Session attendees of the Smith Young Artist Program who will be performing selections from their audition repertoire, selections from Stephen Sondheim, and some collaborative pieces of their own choices. This group's chemistry and talent come alive together whenever they perform, and this salon will be the highlight of the Autumn Session.

Opera fans will not want to miss this performance at Aura Independent Living, a new community for ages 55+. You do NOT need to be 55+ to attend this salon. It is open to all ages. For attendees who are 55+ who are interested, there will be the chance to take a tour of the inviting setting of Aura Independent Living during the salon intermission.
