Isabella Hoyou

Assyrian mezzo-soprano Isabelle Hoyou was the 2025 recipient of the Lee/Barbara Cass Award for Vocal Excellence, and graduated from Carnegie Mellon University after receiving her Bachelor’s from Oberlin Conservatory. This season Isabelle will perform as Night Creatures (Papagayo) and will cover Beggar Lady (Sweeney Todd) as a Smith Young Artist. Isabelle will also be the soloist in Manuel de Falla's El amor Brujo at Heinz Hall this Halloween. Isabelle has portrayed Annio (la clemenza di Tito), Old Lady (Candide), and Ottone (Ottone in Villa). She most recently sang chorus in Laura Kaminsky’s Time to Act premier with The Pittsburgh Opera.

Reever Julian

Bass Baritone Reever Julian, graduate of DePaul University, is currently an ensemble member with Music at Co Cath. He has performed solo staged works of Joby Talbot's Path of Miracles, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, and the world premiere of Alejandro Zuleta’s El Oratorio Panhispanico. An advocate for Filipino composers, he tours performing works of Filipino composers around the country. This past summer, he performed Don Geronimo from Il Turco in Italia with Opera NEO. Previous operatic roles include Masetto/Commendatore (Don Giovanni), Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Don Alfonso (Cosi fan tutte), Tio Sarvaro (La vida breve), Speaker (Die Zauberflote), Ford (Falstaff) and Colline (La Bohème).

Jordan Knapick

With a soprano voice that “radiates sunlight, graceful in every register (Cleaveland Classical), Jordan Knapick is a crossover artist currently based in Seattle. A northern Illinois native, she received her MM from Boston University and her BM from Oklahoma City University. Jordan has spent the past three semesters as a Resident Young Artist as Ohio Light Opera, where she most recently sang Valencienne in The Merry Widow and Elsie in The Yeoman of the Guard. This season she will be the soprano soloist in Händel’s Messiah with Rockford Choral Union and present a recital at Mendelssohn PAC in Rockford, IL.

Alice Lind

Alice Lind, mezzo-soprano, is a multi-talented artist with a mission to use her voice, wit, and humor to inspire others and create impactful experiences. She currently studies voice under the tutelage of Michelle DeYoung. Alice is a recent graduate of Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she earned her Master of Music in Vocal Performance. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Drake University. While there, she served as Assistant Stage Director and singer with Drake Opera Theatre, performing Die Zauberflöte (Third Lady), The Old Maid and the Thief (Miss Todd, cover), and Le Nozze di Figaro (Marcellina, cover). With Jacobs Opera and Ballet Theater, performance credits include Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett), Candide (Old Lady), Falstaff (Dame Quickly), and the opera choruses of Ainadamar and La Rondine. Alice has also performed Suor Angelica (La Badessa; Zia Principessa, cover) and Le Nozze di Figaro (Cherubino) with the International Lyric Academy in Italy. Scene performance credits include La Clemenza di Tito (Annio) with Jacobs Graduate Opera Workshop under the direction of Heidi Grant Murphy, Alcina (Bradamante), Don Giovanni (Donna Elvira), and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Sibella). Alice spent the summer of 2025 as a singer with Opera Quad Cities, where she performed in their mainstage production of Die Fledermaus (Prince Orlofsky).

Jeremiah Sanders

Baritone Jeremiah Sanders is praised for their “vocally powerful” (KDHX) performances and “robust voice and flair for comedy” (Herald Times). Recent highlights include appearances with Indianapolis Opera, Skylark Opera Theatre, Madison Opera (Leporello, Don Giovanni), Opera Today (Germont, La Traviata), and Augusta Symphony. A former Minnesota Opera Resident Artist, they performed Marcello (La Bohème), roles in Edward Tulane, Mago (Rinaldo), and Hortensius (La fille du regiment). Competition highlights include the Baritone Special Prize (George Shirley Vocal Competition), Kurt Weill Award (Lotte Lenya Competition) and district wins in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition. Sanders teaches at the University of Iowa.
