Cedar Rapids Opera is thrilled to announce the appointment of Ashley Pirsig Shields as Executive Director. Ashley comes to us with solid experience in arts management, fundraising, and marketing for nonprofit organizations from Dallas to Boston. A resident of Cedar Rapids, she has a BFA from Emerson College in Musical Theatre and a MBA from Southern Methodist University. We are proud Ashley has chosen to partner with CROpera to help strengthen our programming and operations, and assist with continued financial sustainability and artistic excellence as we look forward to our 25th anniversary(2023).
