Steve Groth

Baritone Steve Groth is thrilled to be joining Cedar Rapids Opera for this production of Die Fledermaus as Frank.

Recently, he performed Marullo in Finger Lakes Opera’s Rigoletto and was a studio artist with Sarasota Opera, performing Alfio (Cavalleria Rusticana), Tonio (Pagliacci), and Antonio (Le nozze di Figaro).

He has also frequently performed with the Italian Montefeltro Festival.

Groth holds two Master’s degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia (Vocal Performance and Collaborative Piano) and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
