On Friday, March 25, CROpera will hold chorus auditions for high school sopranos, tenors, basses, and altos for The Pirates of Penzance. Singers will learn from our illustrious Metropolitan Opera Stage Director and sing alongside a company of the best and brightest Young Artists in the country.
Audition slots are six minutes. Please bring one or two prepared pieces, either classical repertoire or musical comedy.
Auditionees must be available for rehearsals from 10 am - 11 pm beginning May 30. Not all hours will be used within that time frame, but please be aware that performers can be called as early as 10 am and kept as late as 10 or 11 pm during tech rehearsals. Performances are June 16, 17, 18, with potential additional performances on June 20, 21, and 22. Please do not audition if you cannot commit to the entire rehearsal process.
