The Enchanted Forest is a 'choose-your-own-adventure' opera for children, with original story and lyrics by Anna Young.  The characters include a Prince or Princess, Wizard, Villain, and Confidante (BumbleBee).  The children in the audience get to decide if the lead is a hero (Prince) or heroine (Princess).  The production was commissioned by Nashville Opera in 2017.  Music by Mozart, Gilbert & Sullivan, Bizet, Puccini, Donizetti, and Verdi.  Themes include making good choices, teamwork, and tolerance. Performed by members of CR Opera Theatre's Young Artist Program, stage direction by Meredith Taylor DuBon.
