CURTAIN'S UP: GERSHWIN SONGBOOK
You’ll be humming these tunes and more when you join the Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre at its Curtains Up: Gershwin Songbook fundraiser to kick off the 22nd season! Maestro Daniel Kleinknecht will accompany singers Soprano Stephanie Michalicek, Mezzo Soprano Kelly Hill, Tenor Benjamin Kawsky, and Baritone Thaddeus Ennen. This covered, open-air performance will celebrate nearly a century of classic American standards, from opera to Broadway, by legendary composer George Gershwin.
