Simon Brea

Simon Brea is a tenor from the Hudson Valley in New York, who is currently a Master’s Student at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University under critically acclaimed tenor Russell Thomas. There, he’s played roles such as Camille in Die Lustige Witwe, Alfred in Die Fledermaus and most recently, Oronte in Alcina. This is Simon’s debut with Cedar Rapids Opera, but he made his professional debut at the Opera North New Hampshire Resident Artist Program last summer. This summer, Simon will be a Young Artist at the prestigious Georg Solti Accademia in Tuscany, Italy under full merit scholarship.
